Case Results:

  • Commonwealth v. Crosbie: In June 2025, lead counsel Daniel Reilly, along with Patrick Garrity, represented Terence Crosbie, an Irish firefighter charged with rape, in a high-profile trial that gained national and international media coverage. After nearly two weeks of testimony and days of jury deliberations, the jury deadlocked and the judge declared a mistrial. The defense, which emphasized identification issues and the lack of corroborative DNA evidence, represented Mr. Crosbie again in his retrial in October of 2025. The retrial has been covered extensively on Court TV, and was closely followed by the Boston Globe and other media outlets. A jury verdict is pending.

  • Commonwealth v. Furr: Lead counsel Daniel Reilly secured not guilty verdicts across the board in the high-stakes Furr case, where the client faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years.
