FOX 25: Legal Expert Weighs In On Todashev Report

Former prosecutor and longtime Boston criminal defense attorney Brad Bailey joins FOX 25’s Shannon Mulaire, live from the Beacon Hill studios, to discuss the recently released reports finding that the killing of Tsarnaev associate Ibragim Todashev by an FBI agent during an interview at Todashev’s Orlando apartment was justifiable homicide, as it was both self-defense and defense of another, i.e., the Massachusetts State Trooper who was accompanying the Agent.

Todashev’s family refutes many details of the reports, but at this point the FBI Agent has been cleared of wrongdoing by the Justice Department and the Florida State Attorney, and it is unlikely that any criminal charges will issue. However, the issue of whether or not Todashev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev were involved in the 2011 Waltham triple slaying is still to be determined.

Brad and Shannon also briefly discuss the expected murder trial schedule of former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez.
